Enthroned on the 1st floor, in the center of Mas Natura, this magnificent 2nd gite of 65 m2 is fully air-conditioned and planned for 2 to 4 people (5 maximum if young child under 12 years old) accessible at the back by a large staircase leading on an independent and private entrance door which opens onto a beautiful dining-living room in exotic “Jungle” wood style with a large bay window and a small balcony with sea view on the horizon which goes up to a roof terrace and private solarium with deckchairs and garden furniture and an even more beautiful panoramic view of the high mountains of the Pyrénées Orientales.

This second cottage has 2 air-conditioned bedrooms: a “turquoise blue master bedroom” with cupboard opening onto a modern shower room with suspended WC and a second bedroom fitted out in the living room thanks to semi-blackout sliding partitions to let in as much light as possible. reversible air conditioning. Next to it is a new and well-equipped kitchen with, at the bottom of the independent staircase, another more shaded private terrace with a modern electric awning, a barbecue-plancha, a wooden garden table and chairs. All this also gives access to the free outdoor car park and the large 5 x 10 meter salt pool as well as the 2 hectare estate, the games and sports room on the ground floor, the playground , table tennis and trampoline, etc.

Accessibility :

This fully air-conditioned lodging is located in the center of the building, on the first floor of the main house, accessible on foot by a large personal staircase of about ten steps – not accessible to the physically disabled and less suitable for the very elderly.

Included Equipment :

Charges, trash and tourist tax, water and heating (gas and electric with photovoltaic panels and reversible air conditioning).
Salt pool (without chemical chlorine) & covered to maintain up to 8°C sometimes (night-day difference).
WiFi and free outdoor parking, secure with gate and surveillance cameras.
Private entrance with balcony that rises through a safety ladder up to a large roof terrace – solarium with panoramic views of the valley, mountains and sea on the horizon, sunbeds and garden furniture.
New equipped kitchen with a cooking hobs, multifunction oven including microwave, coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, kitchen utensils, crockery and wine glasses, raclette and grill appliances and of course fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.
Lounge and dining area with tables and 5 chairs, 2 separate beds as sofa (2 x 80 sur 200 cm ou 1 x 160 sur 200 cm), bench and ottoman, bedside tables, buffets, flat screen TV and TV stand, library with books and board games, coat rack and high chair for children, reversible climate control. Supplied : tablecloth and towels with tea towels.
Modern bathroom with cabinet unit, mirror, toiletries, hair dryer, first aid kit, laundry basket, walk-in shower, suspended toilet and toilet paper.
2 air-conditioned bedrooms, one of which is partitioned off in the living area, with 2 “Queen Size” double beds (160 by 200 cm) with memory foam mattress topper or 4 separable beds (80 by 200 cm) with bedspread and protectors organic cotton mattresses, cotton, feather-free and hypoallergenic blankets, duvets and pillows, 2 bedside tables on each side and for storage either a dressing room with drawers and hanging space (hangers and trouser press) or a small wardrobe in the another with partitions, a wooden desk with armchair in each room, 2 drying racks, a table and its iron, a laundry basket, vacuum cleaner, broom, etc.
Personal terrace corner in the garden, electric blind with remote control, a wooden table and chairs with plancha-barbecue and sunbeds, close to the fenced collective pool (5 x 10 m with wide children’s escal, just bring your armbands for safety).
Outdoor games with a large trampoline (3.5 m), books and DVDs for children and teens, board games/puzzles… badminton games with long net and table tennis with rackets and other activities according to seasons…
A small gym – games with tablefoot, rower, darts, snowshoes – other indoor games…

Taxes and Deposit :

Tourist tax : From 2020, according to the new directives from the Ministry, the Thuir Tourist Office asks us to switch to the actual tourist tax which is calculated in a fairly complex way for unclassified furnished accommodation at around 2% per night and number of occupants (adults) – see : https://aspres-thuir.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/grille-tarifaire-2020-non-classe%CC%81s.pdf
Complete cleaning (steam) = 50 € in cash for the cleaning and maintenance of indoor and outdoor spaces (mowing and watering the garden, pool maintenance, terrace, etc.) – MANDATORY due to COVID19. On the other hand, storage is not included in it, so make the accommodation, terraces and others in the same condition as on arrival.
Deposit : On site, upon arrival during the inventory, we generally ask for a deposit between € 300 and € 500 (€ 1,500 for groups) depending on the season, the number of occupants and the length of stay, only in cash, that we return at the time of departure if there has been no damage, no malicious intent, pollution (cigarettes, waste, etc.), theft or disappearance, breakage or damage.
Rules : Non-smoking gîte but smoking area only outside on the terraces & balcony and with closed ashtrays because of the risk of fire in the regions of the South of France, even in winter. No waste either outside the bins, no parties, no music with sound system and speakers inside and out, obviously no drugs, excess and drunkenness especially in and around the swimming pool, outside as well as inside and above all no night noise between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. (according to French laws).

Other services on request and supplement :

Transport by shuttle from the airport or train station (at an additional cost depending on the route).
Pets allowed in this lodging only (2 maximum) under your supervision and responsibility = supplement of 10 € per animal and stay.
Organic cotton bed linen rental (fitted sheets, duvet covers, flat sheets, pillowcases) = € 10 per person and stay (if you don’t want to burden yourself with your own).
Rental of shower and bath towels (organic cotton) = 5 € per person and stay (idem). Bring your own beach and pool towels though.
Childcare equipment rental “Lodging Babyfriendly” with a high chair, baby bath and potty, baby bowl and cutlery and if necessary also a children’s folding bed type “umbrella” (available up to 2-3 years), cozy, car seat and booster seat (0+ to 18kg for babies and 15 to 36kg for children around 10 years old), stroller, deckchair, etc. = between 10 and 20 € supplement per child and stay.
Bike rental according to number, age and availability (reservation in advance) or professional bike rental in store in Boulou (Vélo Sud 5-10 minutes away) or Argelès-sur-Mer; or on site therefore = 4 family mountain bikes (2 adults and 2 children: 8-14 years old) for 5 € / pers / day or according to estimate.
Modeling – adult wellness massage – children by a professional, in the institute or on site (with advance reservation).
Haircut with pro hairdresser : woman – man – child (by prior reservation).
Booking rides or horse or pony lessons at Sant Jordi Stable in St Genius des Fontaines (5 minutes by car) or at the St Georges Equestrian Centre between Pollestres and Canohès (15 minutes).
First evening and/or morning catering : cold or hot buffet and organic breakfast tray (depending on the season and request, for example gluten-free, neither milk, nor egg…) depending on availability.
